What is Chiropractic?

The nervous system innervates and controls every part of the body. Communication to & from the brain to the rest of the body is done through nerves that exit the spinal cord. The spinal cord is protected by the vertebral column, also called the spine. Subluxations of the spine can interfere with vital communication in the body. The decrease in nerve transmission impulses caused by subluxations may cause anything from the inability to adapt to the ever-changing environment to causing poor health and disease. Correcting subluxations with adjustments allows the body to function optimally.
